What's Hot

After an intense season of Big Brother with twists, turns and surprise eliminations, MC Junior was crowned the winner, taking home the grand prize of R2 million. This season of Big Brother definitely lived up to its name – it had me hooked the whole time. While I had my favourites, I think MC Junior deserved to win. He consistently won all the house challenges. I got a chance to chat with MC Junior about his victory. He seemed thrilled about winning the whole thing.

Congratulations on your win, how do you feel right now?

Wow, I can’t believe I actually won! It still feels so unreal. On the one hand, I’m in total shock that it happened. But at the same time, I’m super grateful for the opportunity. Crazy to think I’m still processing it!

You’ve done well in challenges so far. Is this win a surprise or have you been playing consistently well all along?

Playing consistently was my strategy, but it doesn’t guarantee winning because a lot of my housemates did well too. I didn’t think being consistent would take me to the finals since it’s up to the viewers who they vote for and want to win the grand prize. So yeah, winning definitely surprised me!

Overall Experience in the Big Brother House?

At first it was a bit scary since I didn’t know what to expect with all the lights and cameras. But once I got used to it, man was it an awesome experience! I really bonded with the other housemates. It was amazing doing all the tasks and challenges. It pushed me psychologically and emotionally, but it really built up my character. I met some truly amazing people that I know will be friends for life. So even though it was tough at times, it’s definitely an experience I will never forget.

What does the future hold for you?

I’ve got big plans for the future. Before coming on the show, I mapped everything out to achieve my dreams and be my best self. Now it’s time to execute it all and make it seamless.
