You can't go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending "CS Lewis, Everyday Power".

I was born and raised in Pimville, Soweto, a world like no other, beautiful and sincere, rich in history, a place where everyone's story is unique and beautiful.

The years I spent at the University Of Johannesburg, formerly known as Rand Afrikaans Universiteit (RAU), exposed me to a different yet exciting world, a world that allowed me to discover and fully express myself, where fear had no root and no flower of fear would ever grow.

I was constantly surrounded on campus by creatives, free-spirited individuals, artists, fashionistas, and models, and so as a result, I taken an interest in fashion, beauty, art, and lifestyle. This seemed timeless to me, and I was not wrong.

My interests influenced my decision to launch iStyleBlaq. My initial intention was to honor black women and men who have made a name for themselves in the fashion and beauty industries. However, realizing that fashion affects everyone who puts on a garment before leaving their homes caused me to broaden my mission. I've decided that the platform's mission will be to celebrate and promote black excellence in all fields.

My black excellence platform follows the definition of Black Success, which is "Someone that is black and portrays great qualities and abilities that make the black community proud".

On that note, allow me to take you on a journey of excellence, a journey of learning, and a journey of uplifting our community. A journey that embodies excellence because you are excellent.

Welcome to iStyleblaq
