Khotso Easy is a DJ from Pimville Soweto. With a passion for house music and an experimental nature, he also loves neo-soul, chill hop, salon, hip hop and R&B – the suffix of his name alone hints at what kind of sound he plays! He has performed around Johannesburg and is a former host of the podcast show ADDIKTIV on Scences Radio which can be found on Soundcloud.
Khotso Easy began officially DJing in 2015 after taking inspiration from greats like Dj Ash and QT. Since then, he’s had residencies and bookings at various establishments including Icon Soweto, News Cafe Maponya Mall, Great Dane, Endaweni and beyond.
Not only has Khotso Easy performed alongside award-winning DJs such as QT, Dj Thulz, Fanatic and Kyotic (and more!), but he has also been featured in incredible performances like Soweto Massive at Icon Soweto; Kasi Food and Drinks Festival at Walter Sisulu Square; Gin Festival on Vilakazi Street; and Housekeeping at Untitled Basement Braamfontein.
